By Scott Rodgers

For example, copper pipes which were used in old days, needs to be soldered with the help of a torch which can be dangerous if not handled with full care. So, it is advisable to hire a professional plumber or go for some other material.

The latest plumbing systems however, do not require a torch. They make use of chemicals like PVC etc. which again should be very carefully used.

At the same time, many of these systems are one-step systems, which makes it a much easier and faster process to install these pipes when compared to installing copper piping systems with a torch.
